Worst day ever..

Today doing my daily alotment of twelve cases I did only RRHs to make sure I would earn good money and minimizing the risk of having to quit. So..

I had to quit most of the cases, plus two or three Hard favours that would have netted me 1600 bucks each when selling the equipment. And after doing cases were every suspect had the shoe maker as their alibi (I'm not exaggerating when I say this) and the only PE was a shoe print, or cases where everyone had *either* the tailor for alibi, who was clammed up from the beginning, or the butcher, who clammed after one question. Include in the above at least two cases where the client were the murderer one of which was the only one where I had a guilty suspect on the threatening note (so much for my banker contact), and my xp and the fee that Shady will collect is rising relentlessly, while my purse shrinks. So I earned about 2500 total today. Mostly because I refused to pay bribes for all my money and then still end up having to quit or accusing the client.

I should've gone to that football game instead.. >:(

What was your worst day like?

Well, it's not the worst day, but it was pretty annoying.
Yesterday I manage to track down my AV co-conspirator, after a long day of three-thread-cases, and was out of cases by then. Today my first move was to chase my villain to Shanghai but I ran into a group of pirates and had to return, thus completely wasting two cases. I finally reached Shanghai and started working. I had cases were four suspects gave the same alibi... the respective town-person clammed at the first. I did squeeze two hints out of guilty suspects, but then started getting those hints several times, that is when I didn't have to quit the cases. After a whole day's work, I only have two hints to show for it, but that's how some days go.

I had a pretty bad day yesterday. Had to un-retire my detective, I'm broke and everyone keeps clamming up on me. I hate having to go back to just Hard level cases but maybe I'll have to do those for awhile.

Worst day ever today. 3 of my 4 cases had to be quit because everyone clammed up before I could collect any evidence. The one case I did solve was only worth $160 and I spent $100 bribing the tailor to find out the thread didn't belong to my last suspect. So I made $60 and let 3 killers escape

Geesh, what does a girl have to do around here to get a contact? And I'm running around with 2 FAs again and every case I solve the Client is guilty so I'm not getting any money. And then everyone is clamming up on me. Its been another bad day.

Why is it that as soon as you get a little bit of cash, everyone needs bribes?
