We've gotten a lot of requests over the years to show the guilty suspect when a player quits a case. I've gone back and forth on whether I think it's a good idea or not. To some degree, it seems that actually accusing somebody should be rewarded in that the player gets a degree of closure (even in the case of false accusations) by learning the right answer. On the other hand, this is a game, and we really shouldn't be going out of our way to frustrate players.
So, I've gone ahead and added a Mystery Quit screen that lets you know who the guilty party is. I think that in the end, Sleuth is a game, and it's just more fun to know.

That is great, Thanks.
Often wondered which killer eluded me, or if he even did.
Many a time Ive hovered over the accuse button and thought..... shall I, and then having the disappointment in quitting and never knowing.

*totally just opened and quit a case just to see the newness in action*
LOVE it! Too bad Chelsea Bando ain't around to see each of her quits result in the birth of a serial killer; I think she'd really have appreciated that :P

I feel horrible, I could have stopped him but nooo I let a mass murderer loose in the streets of Sleuthville. From this day on, I pledge that I will only quit 1 case per day.

Thanks. This is great! Finally I won't be left standing in the rain wondering where I went wrong. It was so....frustrating not knowing.

This is a dangerous new feature. It has reinforced my urge to trust my instincts and guess. Unfortunately I've had to quit 3 cases due to too many unknown alibis within each case. The guilty party has always turned out to be the one I would have accused had I been more brave. Maybe next time I'll take the chance and go for it.
