I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

Panthera's idea is excellent.

One thing I would like to see deals with favors.
How often is it you are doing a favor someone and when you have to verify an alibi, piece of evidence they clam up on the first question.
I would think if I were doing a favor someone they would want to help all the could.

Yes, for that favor only, they should be a temporary contact. I realise that this would potentially make the game too easy some of the time but it makes sense.

At the very least they should answer more questions than normal. Otherwise I really, REALLY enjoy the game. It is really fun!

1. Fun
2. I have some comments more in the user interface side:
1. It would be good if the map screen had other details such as No alibi, (clammed up etc) it would mean I have to write down less, there is no screen that does this even the case screen you have to go into each suspect and find out.
2. If there is witness or physical evidence and no alibi when you accuse someone it should not ask (better still it should not ask if you are not guessing) this would make accusing someone by accident less likely but still allow people to guess.
3. If you have a contact for physical evidence you should be able to ask
who does this X belong to and they should answer or say none of these
of these people.
3. I have only done the free scripted mystery (although there seems to be a limited amount of these) and no treasure hunts (it would be good if there was a sample one of these too) but it seems a bit easy I have done and solved 2 stupendously hard mysteries and it seems like they are no harder than the intermediate mysteries once you get the skills. I am not saying make harder by adding more people evidence or people leaving. .... I don't know I will have to think about it more.

Now I have been in an agency.

It would be nice to preview cases before you open them, also a little more information would be nice such as who has clammed(perminately) up already.

Also a mode where any person in the agency and talk to the clerk if the director allows, it would lead to more open agencies without having to have everybody being officers

I have no clue if this has been suggested or if it is possible, but it would be great if an agency could have offices in different cities. Instead of opening a new "sister" agency, it would be great to just create a separate office. In line with that, then certain case files and crime lab would be available in whichever city the agency has an office. That would be a great feature! And I would love subscribed users to have more cases per day...maybe even a subscription option for more or unlimited cases?

The idea about more/unlimited cases is brilliant!! I wholeheartedly agree that agencies should be a little more open. It would also be great to be able to send any agent money/gear. This would prevent having to jump between agencies to trade/sell items, to offer financial aid to a fellow agent, or to help new ideas like the lottery at sleuthtips.com to work out a little better. :)

Speaking of a "quick" key for research, it would also be nice to just get the info you need from your contacts instead of having to check each suspect. The 48 hr rejoin limit also makes all the "sister" agency business tedious at times.
