Hi.
I'm in this case, I know who the murderer is, but I only have one PE confirmed. The other PE isn't from the suspects with fake alibi. And I have a possible WE dead, all the others clammed up. Can I accuse the suspect or only with an WE she'll confess?

I mean, even if a accuse the real murderer, she'll just talk unless I got atleast 2 evidences?

To accuse you need:

1 PE + Fake/"none of your business" Alibi = Guilty
1 WE + Fake/"none of your business" Alibi = guilty
2 WE = guilty

PE=Physical Evidence WE=Witness Evidence

You will never find 2 pieces of physical evidence belonging to someone with a fake/no alibi.
There will be one piece that will match someone with a fake alibi, and all other physical evidence will match people with real alibis. Perhaps those people came on the scene before or after the person was murdered, and left their hair, thread, notes, and/or footprints.

just to clarify ara's statement:

Physical Evidence matches to suspects on a 1 to 1 ratio; in other words, you'll never find 2 pieces of physical evidence for the same person, regardless of alibi.

Only one person in each case will have 2 pieces of witness evidence against them, though others may have 1.

Thank you both for the quick answer. I have to thanks R Anstett too in the chat.
But let me ask something else...
If I just accuse a suspect without having any evidence, even if s/he was the real murderer, s/he will confess?

If you guess, can you solve the case?

The answer is yes. If you happen to guess the correct suspect, you'll solve the case.

BUT...

if you're wrong, you'll end up with a False Accusation, which is a very expensive blotch to correct.

99% of sleuthville will agree that guessing is BAD.

Those would be the people on their 33rd detective, Ranier :)

I know there are a few players who just seem to continually cycle through new detectives...

They don't seem to have a problem with accusing without any clue :)

I've put too much work into my detective to guess like that. It would totally take the "want to play the game" right out of me if I killed this detective.

of course, I have guessed in the past and currently have 2 falses I need to see shady about. But the first one I really thought I had they person. But my notes were wrong, so I FA. The second one was a favor that I really needed. And I figured that it costs the same with either one or two FA. So I might as well guess.

I don't think I'll do that again. It's to nerve wracking when you have 2 and knowing that just even the wrong click by accident could kill you.

Not worth it to guess.

SOOO not worth the guess lol. I have two detectives; my first one that I created when I first found the game, Kokoaquaker, and this one, who I created after I learned how to play.

I used to guess with Kokoa, and was probably right about 95% of the time... when you have no experience, it's nice and cheap to get rid of those FAs! But now I've had to pay off Shady once as Ranier, and HOLY CRAP! Lol.

Definitely not worth it! I don't think I'd build up another detective if I ever lost Ranier, so I definitely won't take the chance!

A word to the wise:

I was just extraordinarily thrilled to have to pay off Shady to the tune of $609K. Why was I thrilled?

Because if I hadn't gone to Delhi (the wasteland of Sleuth), it would have been close to $800K

DONT GUESS DONT GUESS DONT GUESS DONT GUESS!!!!!

Having also lived through someone else's heartbreak of losing their detective that was almost a year old, with all the skills and everything, I can tell you, this is NOT the way to start off the game.
