OK, so before anyone goes thread-jacking on this...

This is just a thread to find out who in Sleuthville plays a character of a different gender than their own.

Please post here if you are a man playing a female character or vice-versa, and if there's any particular reason for your gender-confusion :)

This was before your time Serges, but i started out my sleuth life as a female character. I had the dancing girl avatar as a female, and a nice red dress as well. I found it easier to be a charming detective as a female than a male, especially in NY for some reason. When i submitted my present avatar i requested a sex change opperation, which Ben graciously granted. Just FYI the process was reversed for Jstkdn who started as a male and became her present female self at the same time i switched.

Well, I was having trouble finding a boyfriend. I was so upset and lonely, and it was so shameful to be alone. All my friends mocked me and made me the butt of their jokes. Or were those jokes about my butt?

You see, it is incredibly hard to find a older graying man who lives paycheck to paycheck off morally-deficient, hedonistic secretive employment that could never in a million years be called gainful. What is a girl to do?

I had no other choice but to make my own man with all those redeeming qualities and more. And the super sexy name was just a little present I added for myself. My friends didn't believe me at first, when I told them about Ranier. They thought I was making him up - why wouldn't they believe me? I guess he is pretty hot, maybe too hot for a chick like me.

But I had already gone to so much trouble, what with solving case after case and gaining all those skill points. I had to do something more. So I started making plans with my friends and two of us. I had to stick to dark areas, so that no one would become suspicious when they saw him. Luckily the movies are a perfect place to bring a cadaver, and pretend it's your boyfriend. I work there, so I have a key to the back door - it makes it really easy to sneak the body in and duct tape him to the seat in the back row.

Now my friends just think he is a total asshole who won't talk to them at all, and won't be seen in public with me since he is always waiting in the theatre for us, and nevers walks us out. But at least they believe me.

Ranier and I got engaged last month as well. I am the typical stressed out bride, worried about all the typical things, plus I am not sure how I am going to hold him up during the ceremony. And I'm running out of cologne to cover up the rotting smell.

Any ideas for a nervous bride?

I'm female and playing a males gender. The only reason for choosing this was that I didn't like the photos of the female roles. Yes, like a woman is buying a car due to its colour :-)))

Well, not in Sleuth but in many RPG games I play female charachters. 50/50 actually. You see, if I'm going to stare at my charachter's butt for weeks, it beter be a nice female's butt!
