Uh oh... I should have posted the above excerpt in another thread "Real Life and Hilarious Things", or perhaps even "Mystery Writers", but definitely not HERE! Ooops. My bad, sorry!
(That's why we shd be allowed to delete our own entries. Ben, this is sure one great way for sifting out the stupid ones...)

I'm beginning to worry about the Children of Thought, they have so many children kidnapped... Anybody seen the movie "La cité des enfants perdus" (The city of lost children) ? ;-)

Music Teacher: "No, Madonna wasn't here when the crime happened." I can only assume that the crime being referred to was that wretched record she released after "Music".

My favorite was the case when 3 suspects were Loan Sharks, 3 motives were Victim owed money, and 4 other motives were Suspect wanted inheritance. What inheritance? There was obviously nothing left!

I just had a case with Martin Martin, too! He certainly hangs with the wrong crowd.
I just worked on a case with 3 opium dealers. I don't see how this woman managed to be murdered. She should have OD'd long ago.
