Also if the game counted solved favours too you'd get favours all of the time. I would assume there is something limiting you to solve more than one favour in a row, since I've tried to stack up favours and solve them. So even if you have two or more favours available (from solving six or more cases) it appears you have to solve a regular case after each favour to be able to solve the next favour. And again if there is a limit to the amount of favours you are allowed in a row but the game count solved favours against the number of solved cases you need for your next favour you'd still get a favour after every regular case solved. Ie every second case would be a favour.

And the second sentence should read "..something limiting you against solving more than one favour..".

It is actually a favour after every 4 cases (3 solved cases + previous favour). There have been glitches in the past where people have had favours sooner than they should have but not often. Take a look at this link and it explains exactly how often you can get a favour. As the older players will know AndreaX was the biggest hunt mistress ever seen on Sleuth so if anyone knows about favours its her :)

Well I guess I have been having glitches and bugs constantly then. I continuously get a favour after three cases. Then three more and then favour, and three and favour. And when my friend started a new detective on friday night and I helped her I informed her that it was three cases solved and then a favour and true to form the game provided just that.

On the other hand I've never been a fan of statistics. xD

You will get a favour after every three cases, but only if you complete the favour as well. The countdown starts from the moment the last favour was triggered. From that point, you have to complete 4 cases and not have a favour already open. If you do, the counter is reset. The previous favour will count in the total for the next favour.

"You will get a favour after every three cases, but only if you complete the favour as well. The countdown starts from the moment the last favour was triggered."

Aha. That explains it.

"From that point, you have to complete 4 cases and not have a favour already open."

Ie you have to complete the open favour plus three cases?

"If you do, the counter is reset."

If I don't complete the favour above I will need to complete four cases?

("The previous favour will count in the total for the next favour.")

Did I get it all right?

Zero if you look at what I posted you will see that I did say your previous favour counts as one of the cases, providing you solve that favour of course. So no your not having glitches that is how it's supposed to work. 3 cases plus previous favour = 4 cases.

If I understood Adam Carter correct:

If I have a favour open favour+three solved cases=new favour is true.

If I do not have a favour open and have failed to solve my latest favour three solved cases=favour is true.

I guess that leaves my case, favour, case, favour experience to be a glitch.

Thanks for clearing things up Adam Carter.

Ok, Ms Helen. So you're saying that if I fail to solve a favour I will not get another one after three more solved regular cases?
