I know who did it, but no motive. Is there any way to get motive other than from other suspects?

Unfortunately, no. You only get motives from other suspects.

That is the reason its always best to ask motive question first atleast untill your list is complete incl. the motive for your client and for suspects you got from townies.
Without motive you cant accuse.
