This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

Wish granted. Now everyone you know will come by your house on a daily basis with some lame excuse so they can join for dinner.

You are indeed as rich as your wildest dreams. However you also have a bill for back taxes that exceeds everything you own.

I wish I could speak 7 languages fluently.

You do. But some dark force intervenes and you use these languages at the wrong time. Like you speak German to a French person or Italian to a Russian person. It frustrates you to no end.

I wish I had my own private island big enough to have a house and a dock.

You do - problem is the island is in a dangerous area to sail so you never see the island.

I wish I my shoes would never wear out.

You do. But since your activity level increases you're bound to get into more trouble. All that extra time you have to use dealing with lawsuits and damage claims.

It's very shielded from the sun and no risk of being sun burnt. Alas mosquitos and other bugs alike appreciate this too and keep harassing you until your skin is covered with insect bites.

I wish I had a mini submarine.
