I have a question regarding the open-ended questions we can now ask the Townies.

What questions, exactly, can we ask them when we're not working on a case? I'm confused. lol I already tried "How long have you worked here?" (which they didn't know the answer to xP) So yeah...

Please and thank you!

It is fun asking them random questions, though, just to see what they know the answer to. They don't know anything about 'How are you today?' or 'Do you think the weather will stay fine?' In London, this is most unusual, as every Englishman loves to talk about the weather!

I'm still trying to figure out how to get them to tell me something *useful* rather than *interesting*, but I am enjoying this new feature. :)

I'll try to add some more flavor questions you can ask them. I should just add one of those simple conversational engines where they take any question asked of them and turn it into a question to ask back to the player. Those things always remind me of talking to a pyschiatrist.

Ben, don't get me wrong, I love the things that I can get them to talk about as it is, and some of the responses made me laugh.

Karletos, first is to subscribe.

To start an angency, to travel to other cities, to really enjoy the full sleuth experience you really should subscribe.

There is a Newbie faq at the bottom of every page to help you with the basic questions. Then come back to the various sections of the main boards to ask away.

Welcome to Sleuth.

Well, Karletos, you don't have to bother about the eastern triads, the circle of light and the green hand if you're not subscribed. Those factions only appear outside of New York.

The remaining factions are an extra feature to this game and can be visited at their permanent locations, that is if you're standings with them are at least +1. You'll get cases that will increase or decrease your standings with a certain faction. But if you visit them at their HQ's they'll ask you to do a "little job" for them. Try out for yourself what a little job is all about.

Your standings with factions will allow you to learn new skills (+25 standings) or buy equipment. Prices for equipment are at lowest rate starting from +30 standings.

Bad Ass has the faction information for you.

You can not travel outside of New York if you are not subscribed.
