Why are there sometimes two sets of footprints, two letters, two threads, etc. If one belongs to the criminal, who does the other belong to?

sorry, i forgot to put it in. WE means Witness Evidence. its when you interview someone and they say "i suspect so-and-so because i saw them wearing the victim's watch" or something like that.

It means witness evidence. I hate it when I get two sets of the same evidence it makes your job so much harder.

I just got 3 threads..2 coming from male clothes and one female ...and incredibily..I got the right suspect..since..three didnt give me an alibi, and one without...my first really really hard :D
