What do you think is important in a bio

personally I think a bio should tell a story about where your from and what you've done. I'd also appreciate some tips on bio writing so I can improve my own.

I just wrote up the background that my detective has. :) I tried to make it as interesting as possibly, and hopefully mildly amusing as well. The bio should suit the detective, though, so if you're a man of few words, a bio of few words would be entirely appropriate. In my opinion, that is!
