Advantages:
1. Other agents in your agency can help you when you get stuck on a case by using their contacts to verify alibis or identify evidence.
2. The opportunity to participate in treasure hunts with your agency
3. Usually your skill and experience points will build up faster than if you played on your own, because you will be able to play harder cases with the help of your team
4. You can save cases you're working on and come back to them later.
5. You have access to your agency's equipment locker
Yes, you must be subcribed to join an agency. But subscribing is cheap and you get 8 cases per day instead of 3.

answers 1 through 5 are all actually answers to just question 1 jongy.
in answer to question 2 ...yes you need yo be subscribed to join, but not to stay part of an already joined, agency.
2 yes joining an agency helps get you more capable of solveing cases, which is the only way to get skill points. at first your highest skill level can get you up to three skill points per case.

To add to add to SLA, if you are in an agency, and your subscription ends, you do NOT get kicked out, but you will go down to 3 cases. (BIG DISADVANTAGE)
