Pants and Shorts

I noticed that all detectives in the game do not have any clothing below the waist. The body portion of your detective includes both legs and chest as far as I can tell; however, everytime I look at him, I imagine my detective running around in a bomber jacket, but no pants. Hahaha.
Anyway, I was thinking how intresting it would be to insert some pants and shorts in the game. I was thinking of things along the lines of jeans and khakis. Maybe my detective can even run around in lederhosens! :)
What are thoughts on this idea?

I think it may make the detective picture area a little too crowded looking. Also we just got shoes, so i'm still excited over that and don't really feel the need for the addition. however, it would be a lot of fun to see what kind of outfits we could put together. It would also give more chances to improve smart, tough, and charm skills. *walks away contemplating a detective walking around wearing a possum bomber jacket, lederhosen, satin slippers, and carrying a schmictar (sp?) and expensive perfume topped off with a golden turban and brown two tones.*
hmmmmm.............

So the detective would be wearing a slipper on one foot and a brown two tone on the other? You said "satin slippers..." "and brown two tones." =P

Well, although I am still giddy over getting shoes, I would love a pretty skirt to go with my leather knee high boots:) Though I too would worry about the detective page getting full.

We like your legs in those boots just fine without the skirt in the way Rach ;P
But seriously, adding more gear to wear means the cases need to be more difficult to solve. Just adding a +1 to tough at this point for an experienced detective would push us over the 23 point mark. Game balance would suffer.

Or, it would be a great idea if a new level of difficulty for cases was introduced, even if new skirts aren't. This could create a bigger challenge for the older detectives.

I wouldn't mind a new difficulty level to daily cases but not to favors, as I know Ran wants. *sticks tongue out* They are difficult enough since u cant get help from others. So if having pants would mean more difficult cases, for FAVORS, I will walk around pantless :o) LOL!

I can see how it could be nice for those wearing the various kinds shorter jackets to have a little extra protection against the cold winds of winter, but for those who just like to look pretty in a dress having to have a pair of pants or a skirt underneath might just seem a little overkill
