All the Harry Potter Books
Anything by Mercedes Lackey

Hmmm, yup HP (Azkaban 1), Narnia, Angels and Demons (much better than Da Vinci), Mirror of her Dreams/Man Rides Through by S. Donaldson, ALL Amelia Peabody series by Eliz. Peters, Magician etc by Feist, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, Lost etc by Maguire, Myth series by Asprin, Jason Cosmo, The Princess Bride (yep there's a book), LOTR, To Kill a Mockingbird, Pillars of the Earth by Follett, When Christ and his Saints slept by Penman, The Alienist by Carr, Keltiad series by P Kennealy, ANYTHING by Charles De Lint esp. 'Some Place to be Flying' and Moonheart, and I think that's enough without being able to see my bookshelves. :) oh and my nephew would never forgive me if I didn't add Lily Quench and the Dragon of Ashby.

I posted my strictly mystery faves on the thread reda suggested above. (still think you're awesome reda for pming me your list of how many fakes to expect at x or Y level, lol!)

not-so-much mystery books I love (recently) are:

Dave Eggers, 'A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius'

Anne Marie MacDonald 'Fall on Your Knees'

Stephen Marche 'Raymond and Hannah' (He's a friend but I'd recommend it even if he wasn't)

Currently reading Everything is Illuminated by Jonathon Safran Foer and liking it, and White Teeth is next on my to do list Coda.
