Skills and Faction

Currently my relationship is LCN is quite good but then I found out that the skill they offer will do me no good. Now I want to switch to other faction. But I don't know what skill do they offer. Please guide. Thank you. :D

does anyone know how many skill points it costs to get survellience? I thought it was either 10 or 12, but I want to find out before i travel to another city to get it.

I would guess it to be on the high end for you then. I think it lists under help as higher then 12 even (which i never understand, I think there is even a faction skill that supposedly goes for 15.) Personally I don't think I ever paid more then 12 for a faction skill as far as i can remember, even charming faction skills (I am smart/tough.) I can't be sure, as with the last 6 new faction skills, I didn't really pay attention.

All I know is that my other detective is struggling to get the SEVENTEEN points he needs for Underworld Connections. That's the most skill points I can remember for any skill.

I think surveillance is a smart skill. I need 15 skill points, i´m charming det.

Interesting we got a tough and charming (Moonshh), and a very charming person (tollo). Neither has any smarts. One must pay 17 skill points the other 15. Hmmmmm.

You can get the list of all skills and how much they cost by hitting the "Help" link on most pages. Then click on "Skills". If you are a combo detective (e.g. smart/tough) and have the particular area, subtract 2 points from the reported cost. If you are entirely the correct type of detective, subtract 3. So...research costs 13 points for someone with no smarts, 11 for a smart/tough or smart/charming, and 10 for a smart detective.
