Currently my relationship is LCN is quite good but then I found out that the skill they offer will do me no good. Now I want to switch to other faction. But I don't know what skill do they offer. Please guide. Thank you. :D

Hypotism: each case some suspects you can hypnotize in giving more suspects. Which means you have to ask less questions to the suspects.

Pugilism: enhances tough.

Pick pocketing: allows you to keep the money of the client is the guilty one.

Surveillance: you can hide outside of one suspects house, and sometimes get the answer to an extra question.

Underworld connection: for that escaped suspect thing.

Safe cracking: only useful if you are in an agency. Allows you to take the last key in treasure hunts that involves keys.

Pugilism is awesome if your agent is already tough. I get very few who won't go ahead and give me info.

I would advise any new comer to not focus on getting the faction skills. You are better off getting your basic smart skills, or charming/tough (get tough if you are tough det, get charm if you are a charming det.) Research is one of the better skills as well.

The faction skills should come after that.

Is Research a special skill? I haven't come across it anywhere.

Research is not a faction skill, but it won't show up on your list until you save up the 12 or 13points to purchase it.

you can see the full list if you click on your skill points and then click on help. I think it is in the right bootom corner under skills you have.

does anyone know how many skill points it costs to get survellience? I thought it was either 10 or 12, but I want to find out before i travel to another city to get it.

Doesn't it matter on your archtype how much surveillance is???

I wasn't sure, that was why I was hoping someone would know. I am a tough detective, if that helps.
