Hey All!

Looking for opinions between Surveillance and Hypnotism - what do you think is better?

I have all my tough except Stress Det, all my smarts, and all Factions except Surv., Hyp, and Safe-cracking.

I am not interested in Charm skills at all.

What do you all think?

Mmm the one thing about surveillance I've noticed is that when there aren't any options open to you - ie all your suspects have clammed, THEN it invariably works. If you just use it when your first suspect clams and you have a list of 4 left to question it doesn't seem to like you as much.

SS has one thing to look for. The other one I look for is when someone clams who should not have. You have a 90% chance and the clam without answering any questions.

I tend to use it right away during the motive/alibi questioning rather than holding off to wait and see if I need it later.

Seem to me like what SS and Ran are saying contridicts (hmmm how do you spell this? lol) eachother.

SS say: wait till everyone is clammed and then it will work.
Ran is saying: use it emmidiatly in the motive/alibi fase, dont wait till the end.
So my conclusion would be, sur. works sometimes :P

Smiles at Reda, yes there are lots of different methods of use. I do think changing to the way I use it now has increased my success rate, but not to the point where I am confident it will work all the time.

How much standing do you have to have w/the order of Soc. before they'll teach you hypno ?
