One of the most prominent yet elusive people of Sleuthville, the legendary Big Lucy herself, is hitting a new milestone in life. While none are bold enough to inquire her age, rumors say this is a momentous occasion. The guest list is comprised of the most prominent and affluent people in Sleuthville and beyond.
However, some of Sleuthville's own working class have been invited-- not as guests, but as special operatives to patrol the event. They have been selected for their swiftness, skill, and intelligence. They will be entrusted with making sure that Big Lucy's Birthday Bash goes off without a hitch. But, as always, there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames.
A mere three minutes before the event is scheduled to start, the operatives are informed of an alarming development. There has been a breach within the ranks, and a number of spies have infiltrated the group! Having never seen each others' faces, there is no way to discern whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.
The operatives' job this evening is to make sure Big Lucy's birthday celebration goes off without a hitch. If she is pleased at the end of the night, it is almost guaranteed that they will lead easy lives from thereon out. Whispers say Big Lucy may be more forgiving on her big day, but even she has her limits...
Will Big Lucy's birthday bash be a huge success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

Thank goodness all you spies developed a conscience at the end and carried the resistance through!
I really enjoyed playing and will be a much better player next time around as I've been boning up on game strategy (as a spy and as resistance).
Thanks to The Announcer. Looking forward to more games down the road.

Great game everyone! Thank you so much Announcer for hosting such a wonderful game!
Yeti, I wanted to say this for such a long time:
No! You hacked into our mailboxes!
No! You are a computer pretending to be human!
No! You are a psychic from the planet Dagobah!!

Sindy, looking back at my descriptions, I think you've just summed it up with one single word! *wide eye stare*
I'm a self professed nerd as well but Yeti must be at Level N37899!
Announcer, next time you must put me in Yeti's team; it's impossible to go against him. (Plus, I'm a horrible liar, except, I really did draw my first team out of a hat because Marc is a friend and Autumn seemed friendly enough)

Once I get to know everyone else, esp Autumn and Justin and Devi and Kiera (oh, and you too Yeti), it's impossible to lie through my teeth with poker fingertips.

I much preferred the comparison jroepel made where you're all country bumpkins and I'm Sherlock Holmes; that was much more flattering.
That was bad luck in the team pick, Joseph. Perhaps had you been Resistance you'd have been tempted to go with a Helen, Marc team, but we'll never know.

Sherlock "Yeti Face" Holmes
Hmm, I'd pay good real world money to be able to hunt down that arch villain. :)
