Wow, what a surprise to log on this morning to find something new on my detective page! It seems we now have official Sleuth titles. I can't wait to find out how to unlock them. This is so exciting! :D

I look forward to someone like ctown will make a list of the different themes and the requirements to unlock them ;-)
Also I guess that Babelfish might benefit of being slightly adjusted, so that also John Hale get the title? ;-)
I am fairly sure though that I will NEVER become a babelfish...
Oh, and perhaps a title for those who have made a certain amount of posts over at the Role Playing Stage would be apreciated?

*hugs Huglover*. Now that's a brilliant idea Huglover. Some throphies for people who "made"/participated in RP-stories! But then again, how can we make throphies for that... It could only belong to the one who makes them I presume.

John Hale is a Yarn Weaver, which is from writing a certain number of Scripted Mysteries.
Babelfish is from writing a certain number of Mystery Intros.

I wondered if I was imagining that thing, I looked on my profile and went, "boy, have I missed that all this time?" V_V glad to know I'm not going crazy.

Thank you for clearing that thing up Anikka :-)
When it comes to my idea about a RP title, I was so simple in my mind that I thought perhaps 50 posts = 1st level title, 200 posts = 2nd level title or something. I think just counting will be enough, as not-in-character posts will be deleted, and only the persistent role players will end up making that amount of posts anyway ;-)

I think the way Ben has set it up now is really good. If he starts adding titles for how many times people post in a certain section, well I think that leads to all kinds of inconsistencies in terms of 'worth' of title. eg if Turtledove rightly gets a great title for 100 Villain hunts, is that the same as someone making 100 random crappy posts in RP. (not that there are ANY crappy posts in RP) And then if you say it would only be for quality posts, then well, who judges quality?! At the moment everything is quantifiable? (is that the word I'm looking for?) you know, can be statistically justified without personal interpretation.
