Does one ever STOP earning skill points? Like, say a detective had 400,000 experience points, would they still earn skill points for completing the hardest cases? Thanks

Soul- it could be that you are not working difficult enough cases for your experience point level to be earning skill points. you have to move up the difficulty levels pretty quickly to keep earning skill points.

you still earn points, it's just that the points may not be WHOLE points. you'll get a fraction of a point and then you'll see the point when you solve a certain number of cases.

Necro this thread in case someone search for the info, because a newbie (like me) quickly get into cases that do not seem to rewars skill points. In fact, they give fractions of point.
