How do YOU Sleuth, I ask? :O Do you memorize alibis, etc., open Notepad, or what? Personally, I open Notepad. It makes the Sleuthing process much easier for me.

I started out with pen and paper, then got so used to the process.....that I could memorize what I needed to remember. And played cases that way. And checking stuff I did forget, took less time, then writing it all down. My desk as a result was about 99% less messy. :) I think a saved a couple of rain forests.
Someone mentioned once in a similar thread. To laminate a piece of paper, and use a white board marker or pen. Thought this was an excellent idea.

I'm surprised not everyone uses Notepad. I mean, you don't have to wrap your finger around a pencil or anything. ^^; Just type suspects, O's for fake alibis, X's for elimination/true alibis. (S) for slim, (H) for heavy, etc.
I never thought of dry-erase. ...Too... lazy...! Can't go out and buy dry-erase board and marker!

I have actually created a form with HTML that I fill out. Has drop down lists and so on for all the necessary information.
So with Sleuth in one browser window, I open my form with another browser window and just alt-tab across to fill in the info!

Naomi that's a great idea. Maybe you can make it available on a website somewhere, and ask Ben the sleuth admin to link from it from the community sites section.

I've killed a few trees...I use pen and paper. My Uncle glanced through my notebook, one of those 500 page things...anyway, he thought I was insane when he heard I'd done over a thousand cases...he's probably right...working toward three thousand now. *Grins*
