Ok, I've looked through the first page of posts and didn't see an answer to this question, so I'm going to ask it. Why is it that any favors I do always intermediate and garner a skill point, but if I do an intermediate by myself (I don't bother, anymore, and am working on hards) I only get experience points?? Sorry if this was asked, but I really didn't see it, here.

It is probabl just working out that right now, you it is taking just the combination of case levels you work normally plus that favor to get enough experience points for that skill point.

As the game progresses, and your experience increases, it takes more experience points to earn a single skill point.

Ok, thank you. Just wanted to know if it was a twist of the game that allowed it to be that for favors you get skill points, regardless of which level you normally have to be on to get skill points.

Skill points arent related to the level of case you are on, they are related to your total xp. At the higher levels even doing the hardest cases, you only get a skill point every so often.

Is it just xp, or is there any relation to 'age'? I have been gainig skill points extremely slowly recently, though I haven't been able to play as often.

It is your experience points that will trigger a skill point. Gaining skill points get more difficult as your experience goes up. It's been forever, it seems like, since I've gained one *sigh*

Skill points are triggered with experience. When you first start out almost every case gives you a skill point (plus experience) and its easy to earn skill points and get skills. As you get lots of experience it takes longer and gets harder to get a skill point. For me if I had to guess maybe every 50,000 or so experience gives me a skill point. Maybe more maybe less though I doubt less so probably more. For the veterans that have over 5 million my guess is it takes probably over 300,000 to get skill points. Maybe a little less Id have to get back cause I dont have a million yet. but Im sure those that have even almost 8 million it takes at least a hundred thousand or something. more probably. but it does get hard to get skill points. If you only do easy cases then it may take over a year to get a skill point. So if you want increased chances at getting skill points, do the hardest possible cases. For me and a good portion of everyone else, thats almost impossible cases which give 5150 or something experience. Its not guaranteed to get a skill point but for me like every 10 or so of those gets me a point so if I do all my cases if I am lucky I can get one point a day. Ive been busy so I havent been able to do all 10 cases each day but do as many as I can
