Hoping that we get more people subbing. For the simple reason, this game exists because people subscribe.

I would like to suggest you add another or change to a different paying service, like PayNova or something similar. I tried to subscribe today, and was also going to gift a subscription to another person who just started playing but apparently PayPal have "developed" their service so it is now damn near impossible to use. First they didn't want to accept e-cards, then not my regular plastic, then when I tried to start an account they charged me money so I could get a four number code on some piece of paper they said my bank would send me monthly (which is bs. I get them yearly, and digitally) and also I should wait for 2-3 days for that. So basically PayPal doesn't work anymore (I used it to subscribe to Sleuth in the past but that was years ago). It would appear they still live in the stone age.

I have no problem with Paypal at all. I use it all the time, perhaps you should take the matter up with them

I did. I closed my account and sent them a message on why it didn't work. It has worked in the past. It just doesn't anymore. And the fault is on their part. My VISA card is perfectly fine. So are any e-cards. I got funny error messages that didn't make sense. I don't expect them to reply to my message, and I've tried making the transaction again with both e-card and my plastic to no avail.

And just for you I tried three more e-cards and my regular plastic AGAIN. Still doesn't work. So basically they've shut me out for not reason whatsoever. And I can't subscribe to Sleuth.

And yes, I phoned my bank asking them about the message that "sending limit is too high" and they said it was strange and that I should be able to send whatever amount I wanted be it $1 or 100. PayPal is not working for me. ctown28, how do you use PayPal to make it work? Do you have an account? Do you have a VISA card linked to it?

Yes I have an account with them and I go through my checking account to make payments. Not sure why it isn't working for you

Alright. Thanks. Still I think it would be a good idea to add another alternative. Be it another pay service or whatever. I could transfer the money right into another account, but people are so worried about giving out account numbers these days so I'd get laughed at for asking for one.

PayNova links directly into one's internet bank and opens a separate window where you make the transaction from the bank directly instead of entering card numbers and all that.

Alright. I finally got it to work. It wasn't easy though. Following their instructions was of no use, but luckily I'm a good problem solver. I am now subscribed to Sleuth, dammit.

Nah, take some credit for spawning the idea of how to work it out on my own instead. Thanks ctown28.

And if anyone ever has a problem with PayPal pass it by me and perhaps if it's the same thing I had trouble with I can help. PM away.
