I am shamelessly going to post this, so I then shamelessly can link to it from the moderators picks.

Hoping that we get more people subbing. For the simple reason, this game exists because people subscribe.

(Disclaimer: Mods, or even anyone else...make money of this game. It is volunteer run. Subscription money is used to pay for hardware and software to run this game.)

Paying seems too expensive for what it is:
I currently pay for one game ($5,00) a month, this game is a lot bigger, better graphics, 3D, ...
Paying 5 dollar isn't worth: 7 cases more a day (I don't even reach 3), it's almost all the time the same.
Agencies: everything works fine for me without now.
Featured mysteries: How much there are of them: 7,8?
Possibility to log in: I'm now a little more then a week old, I can't log in when I want anymore. I could just leave this game, of course.

As you see, there isn't enough reason for me to pay, of course I could write a featured mystery, but for how long I'm subscribed then?
But I've never played one, so I don't know how it works.
Help.

I would suggest trying it out for a month and seeing if it does increase your enjoyment of the game.

Joining an agency means you will do better on your cases, get help and able to solve the tougher ones easier. Better gear, the chance to hunt, and the roleplaying that goes on inside of an agency are all worth while.

With the added bonus of being able to log in when ever you want because you are subscribed will allow you to finish more cases.

I am happy that Sleuth does not have 3D graphics, that would ruin the feel of the game.

I would've wanted to subscribe, except I don't have PayPal, since PayPal doesn't exist in the Philippines.

That being said, how do I go about writing a featured mystery? I just need an idea of the structure of the mystery itself... :)

Hey, imo the people running this site deserve to make some money from it. It's a great site that gives fans of hard-boiled detective noir a place to go and enjoy themselves, as well as a place to interact with other fans. I'm not currently subscribed but plan on doing so within the next couple of weeks. Great job to everyone involved with this project, and thanks for the volunteer work.

mister vader,

Sleuth is interconnected with PayPal through various links. Just press the SUBSCRIBE button on the top right corner of your screen, next to the Google/Nancy Drew banner ads. I'm sure you can pay through there. It costs little, but you have a lot of fun... and you wouldn't want to miss the next major expansion in Sleuth coming next month? C'mon: hunting villains and visiting the city of Shangri-La? Wouldn't that be fun? :)

Anyway, writing Featured Mysteries is a lot of work. I'd suggest checking out PayPal first before considering that option.

Added Bonus:

New expansion, which I'm sure you will have to be subscribed for :)

The people are great and you can accomplish SO much more as a subscriber, better equipment, higher scores, just generally more options...Definitely the best thing I ever did :)

I've written a feature mystery and let me tell you it's not easy so consider all options before trying to write one.
