What skills are your favorites? Which ones do you enjoy using? I like all the Analysis skills (thread, hair, footprint, hand writing), Lock Picking, the faction skills, Sweet Talking, Judge of Character, and Stress Detection. What about you?

Research closely followed by lockpicking. Both have saved my bacon on several cases. Underworld connections and pickpocketing have saved my bank balance on multiple occasions. They don't make it easier to solve the case, just less expensive.

Rearsearch hands down. Pugilism next, hardly any clams.

DaRu - so you mean 'Pickpocketing', not 'Lockpicking'? ;-)

I've always loved Research, and Hypnotism helps me get the full list if suspects that little bit faster! I only recently got Lockpicking, which is OK... Surveillance is very satisfying when it works!

I have almost the full set of Charm skills to keep suspects talking - I just wish I hadn't chosen Interrogate, before I knew what I was doing! My next choice might be Pickpocketing.

PS I've gone to the effort of getting Barber contacts in all cities (except that recalcitrant Delhi) - so I don't use Advanced Hair Analysis.

But I always have a good haircut!

Fogg, we are all green with envy.

My favorite is Safe Cracking. What a great way to swipe a hunt!

I suspect DaRu does mean lockpicking, Phileas. It can give you that extra question (free) and sometimes one more question can open a case up. If I were starting, lockpicking would be one of the first things I'd get (after research), and pickpocketing one of the last.
