the don at the real estate place keeps telling me they need to know me better...so it is true that i need a really high standing with the faction in order to learn special skills? i currently have a +24 with the nostra thing...how much more would i need?
also i heard you needed exp. points to learn skills...how much would i need though?
thanks a lot!

if you're in +24 with them, you should be very close to being able to learn their skill--I think it's 25 where you can do it. you will need skill points, not experience points to learn the skill. However, note that the skill you can learn from the don at the real estate place (la cosa nostra) is safe cracking--a skill which you can only use when you are in an agency to end a treasure hunt. You may want to spend your skill points on something else first.

The faction skills are expensive - 10 to 15 skill points each. Orbitrux is right - safecracking is the least useful unless you are in an agency doing hunts.

If you haven't gotten research yet, that is where I suggest you spend your skill points. Its the best!

You need 13 ( I think) skill point, then you can buy it and when you have it, you go to the city hall and hall of records.

Yes, research is available from the regular skill purchasing menu when you have enough skill points to buy it. It's an essential skill and a big help!
