You can also send a cheque or money order. The rates are very affordable.

I have heard a few complaints about Paypal, so I should say that it is less than completely reliable. Enter the words "Paypal" and "problems" into google and you'll see what I mean.
Check or money order is still your best bet.

Yeah, but any purchase with a credit card you can actually cancel without any issues what so ever. Any system is breakable, so every online payment website will have examples of it not working. But I know many people using paypal (including those on this site), and no one has had problems.
All in all, paypal is secure.

Tis kind of like the possibility when you hand the nice waitress your credit card in a restaurant, that you risk of the number getting used, or copied. There are a lot of instances in that happening. I have seen mystery charges show up on my credit card bill travelling in Asia and Central Europe. One call with VISA and it is taken care off.

I have used paypal on a variety of occasions and had no problems. It is a very safe way to pay if you don't live near enough to send money orders or a cheque. There is a lot more chance of someone copying your credit card details in a restaurant or shop than paypal going wrong.

i live in Scotland and paid one night when I decided to subscribe, I didn't have any problems at all and it went through immediately, trust comes down to who you are dealing with and I (as I'm sure many others) trust this site implicitly, the providers Ben, etc are obviously trustworthy :)
