I have footprint analysis and it told me that it was by a heavy person, but in the end the suspect was a slim person. Can you fully depend on my skill or can they be wrong sometime??? Also, I am working on a case right now where an eyewitness said they saw and suspected someone, but that person has an alibi. Do I trust the eyewitness or the alibi??? Are there somethings you can trust more than others???

When you interview a suspect one of the question options is to ask if they have heard or seen anything to make them suspect someone. If you get a "yes" when you ask about a particular suspect, then that is an eyewitness account.
As far as how long it takes to solve a case, that depends on the level, your skills and technique, your connection, and a little bit of luck. I've had easy cases that still take me 10 minutes solve on a bad day. A good day, an easy will fly by in about 3.
Don't rush it. Take your time and pick your own style. You'll find something that works for you. :)

3 and one is a liar and will give you a name of someone with a real alibi.

it might also help to talk to those shop keepers if all your witnesses had clammed up on u.

The only help shopkeepers can be when witnesses have clammed is helping to find a few more suspects, maybe.

And there may be two pieces of false eyewitness. I have a test case at the moment with 2 false WE. The case is an Almost Impossible, so maybe the rules are different at that level.

Don't tell me that VBuster. :) That means there are more than 3 of them then.
Thanks. :)
Well, as long as you have your fake alibi or second eyewitness I guess it doesn't matter how many try to lie to you.

if the alibi's are true than it is pretty obvious they didn't do it... sometime after repeatedly going back to their houses you'll find that they have been murdered/killed in a mysterious ways and usually that person would have been a prime suspect so it helps if they are dead because it narrows it down even more...

Only if they were still willing to talk. If they clammed up they deserve it. After all, tight lips sink ships too, you know.
