Detective Biography
I'm going through so many changes right now. I guess it's the dance that changed me. In certain circles they call me Tarantula. Anyone who calls me Ms. C's pet tarantula is likely to suffer from a foot induced allergy the symptoms of which include massive swelling, severe weakening of bone structure, as well as internal and external bleeding.
Maybe one evening in St. James Park you'll hear the sounds of the berimbau playing and the sounds of the drums. Maybe you'll catch a glimpse of me dancing in the circle.
If you see me there then you will find me in a place where I can show all of myself and where I can truly be myself. The warrior, the artist, the thinker, the trickster, the beast, and the playful inner child are all expressed when I play Capoeira.
The closest I've ever came to this feeling, this ability to express all parts of me is on the streets doing detective work. Then again I've never really thought about that until Capoeira.
