Concerned about Switching?

Someone brought it to my attention that some members of the Sleuth community are concerned about my switching from Doppelgangers to The Underground yesterday. I am happy to address concerns here.

Doppelgangers was created as a place for some members of The Underground to store their second characters, so that we might have more active avatars (and other real people) in The Underground. A few months ago I left The Underground because I'd started a new part-time job, and school was hectic. I did not have time to uphold my playing level commitment to The Underground, so I left and placed myself in The Underground with my other double character, Alamette.

Yesterday an place opened up in The Underground and I was asked to rejoin. I've left my job and have more time, so I said yes. I rejoined The Underground yesterday. I have not done any switching back and forth recently, the last time any of my characters were in The Underground was in January, I believe. Then, last night, another position opened up and another member of Doppel wanted to rejoin The Underground, Lady K. We invited her back as well. Lady K also has not done any regular switching back and forth and was last in The Underground in January.

Neither myself nor Lady K has done any favors for hunts. In fact, The Underground has not entered any new hunts since yesterday, and we do not plan to. Given the recent, exciting expansion of the game, I think it is natural that older players such as myself and Lady K would want to become more active again to explore the new aspects of the game.

I know that Moonshh has explained Doppel & The Underground's relationship before, but we will be glad to continue to explain it to alleviate any suspicion that we are doing something wrong. Please, if you have concerns about the way that we are playing the game, don't hesitate to contact our members & ask us about it directly. We are warm, open, and friendly people who want to uphold the ideals of the community.

Oh and not really anyone else's business. Which I think maybe is what the others were trying to say.

I stand by rehiring the three agents. We had the space, they wanted in, and there was no reason not to do it, except for public opinion.

No one outside the agency can know what happened unless we tell you, and how much dirty laundry do you want washed in public?
