Is there any point to this? What use is it to know in advance that a witness will clam?
Why not have instead a "Stress Release" skill where you beat the witness into the ground when they stop answering questions? I don't even care if the skill helps with the case or not- it's not like stress detection does, and beating the client into a pulp would sure make me feel better.

This is just my opinion, but I think the skills we don't use are almost more valuable than the skills we do use. The reason is because without spending skill points to find out that we have no use for a certain skill, things would get too easy too fast in the lower levels, and we might never see the rest of the game, so I think the skill points we say we waste, and the time it takes to build those points back up so we can get the skills we do need, are precisely the things that allow many of us addicted to this game, since those are the things that allow many to experience higher levels before the lower levels get too easy for purposes other than something like favor-cycling.
