Hello everyone. It's been some time since we've had a game of Resistance, so I'll be hosting one (without story) for everyone to enjoy. If you've never played before, feel free to jump right into the world of uncertainty and lies. I promise lots of fun. :)

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

For once, I agree with you, Cathy.

HELLO! Yeti just gave Devi another NO CONFIDENCE CARD. Three failed teams and Devi can use those two NO CONFIDENCE CARDS and the game is over. And this team is obviously going to fail - so that only leaves two more tries.

DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WAS TRYING TO HELP OUT THE RESISTANCE?

WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

Yeti, why do you want to make me miserable again?

I'm going to Shangri La where I can't read this thread anymore and get upset that people still think I'm a spy. Yeti you're responsible for this. And you didn't want to be my friend and join my team. You owe me a pony :(

I quit :(

Yeti how deliciously devious you are. Ok resistance, only 2 more spies to out. And of course I'll be voting NO on this team.

Announcer. Question about the rules since I don't trust Yeti anymore. When we're talking about refusing 5 teams - are those 5 for the entire game, or just one round?

Yeti senses this is the moment he's been preparing for,"I'll show them all, I know it's a risk and probably a trap, but the opportunity to sabotage the resistance is too precious, I can't pass it up." With mixed emotions equal parts of terror and triumph, he makes his move, casts his fate to the wind and swiftly strikes. "There the deed is done, there's no turning back now." Sensing something is wrong he quickly turns to see Bella stepping into the light emerging from the shadows, where she's been scrutinizing his every move. Too late to prevent the damage, showing not the slightest hesitation, she says "Goodby Yeti," and strikes him down. As she glances down at the thing that once was her ally, he looks up in horror and utters "How could you?" She replies "It was easy, I did it for love."

In regards to Devi's question: It's 5 failed mission proposals in a row for a round, not for the whole game.

Autumm and Lou betrayed and seething over the failed mission, silently stand by taking in the scene before their eyes. They look at Bella as she passes by, nodding their assent. Her head effect and shoulders braced for what's coming next, she shrugs and with an icy voice, says "Now lets go get Judas's partners."
