The rival factions of the city of Shangri-La have been at odds for years. The Tigers seek to crush all opposition to the Prince’s rule, while the Tea Steepers are disapproving of the new Prince’s disregard for the peaceful traditions of Shangri-La.

To complicate an already fragile state of co-existence, quite a few nemesis hunters have gained the trust of both factions. Both factions, while obliged to be cordial to their new saviours, are feeling uneasy with what is apparently the new status-quo. The Prince’s soldiers have worked to ensured that the Monastery is off-limits to all visitors to Shangri-La, but this hasn’t stopped the Steepers from finding detectives sympathetic to their cause and collaborating with them " and the Tigers know it.

With the haunting clickety-clack-clack of countless pairs of Polka Dot Pumps ringing in his ears, the Chief of the Tigers of Shangri-La resolves to destroy the Tea Steepers once and for all. The Tea Steepers, fully aware of the plans the Tigers have in store for them, put together a team of detectives to put their plan into action. The wise monks of Shangri-La (after a few brainstorming sessions with the Scholars of Shangri-La " because you can never escape the Scholars of Shangri-La) know that there is but one way to protect their campaign against what they believe to be the Prince’s oppressive rule. However, the Prince’s Chief of Security has managed to sneak a few trusted informers onto the team.

Will the Steepers succeed? Will their champions succumb to the scheming of the spies? Will we ever figure out what's going on with Rasputin’s Egg? How many Sparkly Vests are the Tigers slowly processing to create"? Whoa, I nearly gave the game away there. Anyway, let’s find out!

I'm pleased to announce that Yeti is also RESISTANCE. :) This confirms (to me at least) that 2 out of the 3 Resistance members have been uncovered, but I'm a little stumped on how to proceed now because I have two people accusing me of being a spy when I am Resistance and that is the move of a spy. Is it both of them or because one simply doesn't know, being Resistance?

Sal, to answer your point about Mission 1, as publicly stated my goal is to spread the love as far and wide in the first round as possible. I gifted a power to Riza and chose you not knowing at all what your allegiance could be. I was reasonably certain Yeti was not a spy, because that would be a crazy strategy. Therefore if using Mission 1 and even Mission 2 as fact-finding, I would not choose the certain in favor of the uncertain. I hope that clears that up for you.

I don't know what to say about Mission 2 other than it has to reasonably be either you or Riza. I know I voted SUCCEED, and I know that Riza has thrown a wrench in the works by not using the power she had. She also hasn't used Strong Leader, and if she was Resistance she could have easily wrestled a team proposition from Devi who she states she knows is a spy and proposed a successful team to carry Resistance to another win. To me, her argument (I'm a good actress and that's all?) is not even based in reality and that's why I immediately suspect her. But maybe that's just Riza being Riza.

I have consistently voted in the open and discussed at length what to do with my certain ally, Yeti and carefully moved to benefit the Resistance in every vote and opportunity that has come up. I'm stumped because we don't have any conclusive information about Riza or Sal. Is it likely that Devi is a spy, yes, unless its Riza and Sal both. Is that even possible though? I'd bank it's probably just one. It's insanely suspect to me that they both suspect me though.

Yeti, what are your thoughts now that you've been outed as Resistance?

My thoughts are the same as ever - they'd only have changed if you had decided to lie about my allegiance, Molly.

Devi is a tiger, I am a monk. Therefore there is a spy amongst the should-be-noble ranks of Riza, Molly and Sal. If a team is put together containing myself, Molly, and Sal, then Riza can use her SPOTLIGHT power on Molly or Sal. This way the Steepers are either victorious, or the second spy can be ascertained.

Mission 4 is vital for confirming who the traitors are, and knowing this is so my fellow Resistors must vote down Devi's proposal.

Oh, and for reasons of clarity; Sal, I have voted now.

Agreed... haha what a mess that would have been if I'd lied about your allegiance! I would never. :)

Agreed on shooting down Devi's proposal. Allons-y! It's irritating to be suspected, but I'll proceed with you and Sal. ^_^

From my point of view, I have heard nothing persuasive about anyone's allegiance. I only know my own and everyone else is suspect. The next time the police pick me up for questioning, I'll tell them I am innocent and we'll see if they let me go right then and there. If I am wrong about anything or everything, this is the situation from my perspective and I haven't completely ruled anyone out or in for that matter. Molly, you may be telling the truth, but you and Yeti vouching for each other doesn't persuade me. Suppose you two are the spies? One lies and the other swears to it. I hope you have figured this all out and save me the trouble of any further mind racking, but until then, I shall continue to evaluate what I read, from your own mouths. I make no "leap of faith" as a Kierkegaard might. I need evidence and as yetI I don't have enough.

Haha, I understand where you're coming from Sal. There are no hard facts in this game- and the only ones we have just haven't been played yet. While out of the realm of logic, its still completely true that even Yeti and I could be spies in cahoots. I get what you're saying! :)

Good, Molly. No offense was intended, just a summation of my thoughts after each round. Which will probably stand until something alters them. And I think Yeti believed me whan I said I didn't care that much about winning. :)

Do I have to do anything yet? I have almost all the votes; results should be out soon. You can all start thinking of teams you'd pick.

And a reminder: with only five players, Mission 4 needs only ONE SABOTAGE vote to FAIL.

The team DW proposed (consisting of herself, Molly and Riza) has been REJECTED (4-1).

The votes:

Molly Maltese: NO
Riza Hawkeye: NO
Yeti Face: NO
Sal Iva: NO
DevilishWings: YES

Molly will be the next leader. Molly, please propose a team of THREE for Mission 4 (you may put yourself on the team). Once Molly proposes her team, everybody will vote on whether or not they approve the team proposal by PMing me. If a majority approves it, the mission starts; if not, Riza will be the next leader.

Riza, if you'd like to play "STRONG LEADER" now, you'd have to do so BEFORE Molly proposes a team. Would you like to play "STRONG LEADER", Riza?

Cards in play: STRONG LEADER (Riza), IN THE SPOTLIGHT (Riza)
Failed proposals: 1

If Devi were not a spy she would have used OPEN UP on herself. Never mind the suspicious voting history. Essentially if Devi were a monk, she wouldn't have been a very good one.
