I've started work on the next update for Sleuth, and as promised it's going to be a content update. However, it's going to take a while before any of you see it, at least two months, potentially far longer than that.

Now I would hate to leave you all in the Sleuth wilderness, totally devoid of changes, so every one to two weeks I'll create an update from the suggestions you give here. An example of a small update (from the desk of Bela Talbot III) would be including your most recent fortune telling in the case file so long as you haven't discovered any new suspects since then.

Whilst this is going on I'll also fix up the small bugs lying around the game. For example, there's a certain accessory devouring fox that needs reining in, and possibly relocating. So don't worry about suggesting bug fixes here. Keep it to small things you'd like to see, or small annoyances you'd like changed.

RL has put me in a position where I'm not always able to work cases everyday. I would like to have a "Job Bank" where I could drop off cases to be solved by others. The benefit to others would be points, money, cases solved toward favors. The benefit to me is I still get a small percentage of points as my "donated" cases are solved. Right now quite a few of my cases are evaporating so if this is possible I'd like to see it sooner rather than later.

Hi Sophie, I'd have thought the most immediate way to use your cases up would be to join an active agency? That way you can do exactly as you've described.

ok yeti, i have to know what the hell a gribbly widget is.

and i've offered sophie a temporary place to store her files. she is very much an indie PI so I doubt she'll take me up on it, but the offer has been extended. :)

Thanks Autumn, I want to give the files to you not store them. I have an apt. full of stored files so I'd be pleased to join your agency and know my clients are in good hands. Thanks.

I would like to be able to "mail" gear to others outside my agency.

We could pop a post office in every city, and you could actually have it mailed between offices.

Yes please! Maybe even that trading post? There could be a fee charged, if necessary, and a message board (like the one at the racetrack/Lucy's/Shangri-La). I think having both features (being able to mail gear and a trading area in all the cities) would be neat. The trading post could work like a pawn shop, or you just sell something to the shop and people who are looking to buy something will get to choose from whatever the shop has stocked, or it could have some kind of auction thing going on - the seller would put something up and interested people could try to outbid each other (message board! Or a live chat thing, but those never seem to stay up).
