I tried to post the answers earlier, but the server was down. No wonder, with all these witches! Here they are:

1. 17th century (1692)
2. Arthur Miller
3. Daniel Day-Lewis
4. Eastwick
5. The Wicked Witch of the East
6. White
7. Snow White
8. Burning at the stake
9. The Blair Witch Project
10.Hogwarts

Bonus: John Hale

The winner is LED with impressive 11/11 .

The burning of witches started in the early 13th century, wich is Middle Ages by all definitions, but reached its peak in the second half of 16th century. In my country the last witch was burnt in the second half of the 18th century, and in England in the early 19th century.
