It is rumored that the ornate palace gates of Shangri-La have finally been opened to the public for the first time in known history. The Prince is making his debut into the public eye with a brilliant gala hosted by the Prince himself: an exclusive invitation-only event attended only by the most prominent and affluent people from countries all over the world.

Some commoners have been invited to this rare event--but not as guests. The Prince's most trusted advisor has particularly collected special operatives to patrol the event: the world's brightest, swiftest, and most skilled. You will be entrusted with making sure that everything goes off without a hitch. But there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames, along with the Prince himself.

Five minutes before the event is scheduled to start, a report of a most alarming nature reaches the operatives' ears. There has been a breach in the ranks. Some spies have infiltrated the group! But since they have never seen each other's faces, there is no way to tell whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure the Prince's gala goes off without a hitch. If he is pleased at the end of the night, they will be rewarded handsomely. Sources say he is forgiving of small mishaps, but when pushed too far...

The Prince's reputation is at stake. Will his gala be a phenomenal success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

Aye aye.

Alright, Riza-kins, I'm playing STRONG LEADER here, and proposing:

Adam Carter, nicnic, Jason Arends and myself.

Resistance once again, the reason this play is the safest one we have at this point is because Adam Carter has IN THE SPOTLIGHT, which he has agreed to use on either Jason or myself, and nicnic has KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON YOU, which she will use on whichever the two of us is left over.

The result of this play is that either way we are all resistance and will succeed, putting us at 2-0, or we will have outed a spy if it is sabotaged using the cards we have.

Its the most illuminating thing we have. I urge you to put it through.

Molly has chosen to use her STRONG LEADER ability.

Molly has made her mission proposal.

Mission 2, Team 3

Team Leader: Molly Maltese
Team Proposal: Molly Maltese, Adam Carter, nicnic, Jason Arends

It is now time for the rest of the team to vote to either approve or reject this mission proposal.

When you do vote, please send me a PM stating "Mission 2, Team 3: YES or NO."

Feel free to discuss.

I don't like this team. I'm voting no again. For the same reasons posted before.

I disagree that this is the "safest" play we have, but only because from where I'm sitting the safer play adds me to the mix. That being said, I see where Molly is coming from, but I'm not sure I want to vote "YES" based on that. Adam (and by association Vulkie) could be a spy, and could force someone he knows is Resistance into the spotlight, which is pointless. As for Nic, her power allows HER to know the play of Jason or Molly. I just don't see this being the "everything is elementary at this point" scenario that nic and Molly are trying to convince us it is. I honestly don't know what the "right" move is here...

Well thats the thing though, isn't it serges? Either way we go a plan is going to potentially flawed. The scattering of cards and distributions left us tenuous at best. Maybe its not the safest play, persay, but its the only one I can see that will result in any knowledge that is potentially useful. Any combination that involved you would be voted down, because at this point, everyones unsure. So in the interest of the Resistance, you would acknowledge that fact and hope we could somehow resolve it later down the line, but we are at a dead standstill right now, and either way guys, SOMETHING needs to happen.

I'm not trying to be combative at all, more just weighing the options out loud.
I think I'm going to take a little time and think on this strategy before I vote. It seems like your intentions are pure once again Molly, but I'm not 100% sold on the team.

I know you're not being combative, sorry that was probably a little abrupt. I just so very desperately want to advance this game! haha

I can't possibly think of any better option at this point.

Molly, Adam, and I were on the first mission and it succeeded. That is a pretty good piece of data. Not a great one, but pretty good for what we know at this point.

Jason may be playing us all. If he is we should probably all go back and re-evaluate our perceptive abilities because Jason was borderline three year old with ADD the first two games where he was a spy. So he deserves an Oscar and he went to the doctor and got a brain transplant, or he is Resistance.

If it fails, we are tied. And there will be a lot of information out on the table for people to contemplate.

Picking a random team that does not include Molly, Adam, and me (after succeeding the first mission) doesn't make a whole lotta sense no matter how anyone tries to spin this.

I'm not a spy and i voted yes on this. Ill prove it to you all when i vote succeed of my own free will, use your cards on me, i dont care. I'm not going into panic mode and i have outed myself which are two things i would have done by now if i was a spy. I'm a terrible liar in real life and online. I have no problem being honest, case in point when Biggie accused me of being a spy in the first game i didn't know i was even allowed to lie and i confessed and ruined the game for her. Second resistance game Jay/serges accuses me of being a spy in bar chat and i say "Oh crap, i guess Ive been found out then huh?" and i was being serious and not even thinking of lying. Its just not my strong suit guys. Call me what you want, stupid, clueless, retarded, its all true, but one thing im not is good at lying. I'm also not a spy. And Biggie i dont know why, but you voting no again, im completely convinced you're a spy. There is NO logical reason to vote this down when it is SO beneficial for the resistance to pass this team through. So far my list of Spies are Jay and Biggie and possibly Andi because of Jay's interest in handing her cards. I know im resistance. I trust that Nic and Molly are too. I could be totally wrong sure, im not only a bad liar, im also pretty naive and gullible a lot. All around this is probably a bad game for me to play but i trust my gut here with Nic and Molly. Jay and Biggie though, you're suspicious at best and spies at worst. And i say this with much love you two. :)

Arent we all proud of me? All grown up and posting long rants about my suspicions. :)
