Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

1st mission
Two spies plus a resistance player. S1+S2+R1. All vote success.

2nd mission
Same people plus a spy. S3 understands she has to sabotage the mission. S1+S2+R1+S3. One sabotage.

3rd mission
R1 replaced by R2. R2 forced to post mission result publicly. S1+S2+R2+S3. All spies vote success.

4th mission
Same people plus a resistance. The only dark spot of the scenario. Which two spies vote sabotage? If S3 is the one itĘs too risky. So she decides to let the others sabotage this time. Of course this would require not only smart but also experienced players. Is this the case? If so then S1+S2+R2+S3+R3, two vote sabotage.

*S1 and S2 were forced to pick one another in their missions since they were self-declared resistance. Otherwise how can a resistance player not place confidence in an identified brother? All the others just believed they were resistance.

Disclaimer: I wonĘt take any blame if this leads to spies winning the game. Just a “possible” scenario.

Note how I'm suggesting how to divvy them up in a NEUTRAL manner, so that the resistance has the best shot at getting them, regardless of who is or isn't really a spy.

I suggested that method because I KNOW Helen is a spy. So, she's in a catch-22. She can agree with it to appear clean, which guarantees power in the Resistance hands, or she can go against it, which then she has to be able to explain away, since let's face it, it's a Resistance-friendly strategy.

..and Marc, what's your issue with me suggesting that she not give cards to Eden or me again? You're afraid because you know if she does it this way, a resistance member will take your NO CONFIDENCE away. And then, all the power is in the hands of the Resistance, rather than the spies who could use STRONG LEADER and NO CONFIDENCE to win the game. Believe me, I've seen it happen.

Are we voting? All of this debate has me lost on where we are in the game. *sigh*

Hey look, Jason's lost again.
We've also pretty clearly established (whether you believe my allegiance or not) that Jason is either a Spy, or a REALLY REALLY bad Resistance player.
Putting the person who accused you of being a spy on your own mission team...

He's stupid like a fox, guys.
