Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

Riza, Riza, Riza....

I can explain my actions; its up to you to believe it.I got angry last game for no apparent reason to be honest. Then i realized. It's just a game. No need to get angry over a game. Everybody grew suspicious when I voted yes, but that doesn't make me a spy. Remember, Molly voted yes too. I just made a rookie mistake.

I wasn't as adamant because I wasn't being constantly accused. As soon as I was, I denied it at least three times. Also, last time, I WAS sure Jason was a spy, due to the first failed mission, and I was also sure of Illicit because she had outed Jason as resistance.

Its a lot easier to be adamant when you're 100% sure and no one believes you. Things didn't play out that black and white this time.

Further, I voted no to my own proposal because after the fact, much smarter people than I pointed out (rightly) that it wasn't a smart one. I didn't think ahead and I just got overexcited when it was my turn to play. If you noticed, as SOON as I saw nic ask if I wanted to play that card, I jumped at it and proposed a team without thinking. So call me excitable, sure, but I'm NO SPY.

A spy talking about another spy :) Great.

But this could be a strategy. Make accusations at real spies knowing no one will believe it so that that person could easily get into a team?

Jason is definitely a spy. And we don't know anything about Riza, but she's been voting in favor of the Resistance. That I know. And I don't care if it takes a spy to make the Resistance win the game, lol.

Which means what matters for the Resistance is getting the three of us in a team: Serges, Illicit and I. If this mission passes, we could identify one more Spy or Resistance.

Oh c'mon Eden, dont' tell me you believe her. Look at that chump. *points to Riza* Her two hundred dollar set of clothes and her two thousand dollar car. You think she's really resistance? I'm telling you, she's a snake in the grass.

Eden- don't get defensive. I'm not saying you didn't provide ample logic to back up your suspicions, but on the flip side, you provided QUITE AMPLE logic to back up your suspicions. In a game where everything is suspect, everything must be suspect. Clearly I'm in favor of you or I wouldnt have proposed you on a team.

Yeah, you're different this time around Marc. I played the last round with you and I dont know, theres something different about it. I would peg you as a spy.

As to Biggie, I don't know. I don't think she is, honestly. I've been able to follow her train of thought on this game with the allowance that she is fallible, as I was. Theres a definite possibility she's a spy, but this is also the reason I chose her. This move should be able to prove something, if she's on this team. But we have to look at the list if it isn't Biggie. What do we know about Cek?
