I had to migrate the Sleuth Noir server to a new ISP this evening. I'd hoped it would take less than an hour, but here we are in the dead of night again...
Anywho, I am crediting current subscribers with a full extra day on their subs.
There may be a minor bug or two lurking around because of this switch. In fact it would be fairly miraculous if there were not. Please post here if you spot a bug you suspect is new.
One last note: The server is now running on Pacific Coast Time (one hour later than before). This is just to help me stay sane, since I haven't lived in the Mountain time zone since Kanye was still cool.

Real minor thing I just found...
The Agency Office Safe page mentions that rent is deducted from the safe at midnight every day, MST.
2 things:
1) Now the server is in the Pacific Time Zone
2) You probably want to avoid PST since during the summer it will be on PDT.
I'd just say at 00:00, sleuth server time.

It appears that the "weird character" bug has been fixed (Jas's bio, intros, etc.), but now there's a new bug. Every once in a blue moon I've been coming across a weird diamond with a question mark in it. Examples I've found:
Leddie's donation thread, the "pound sign" has been replaced
Dedektif Cingot's name: The o with the umlauts has been replaced
Anyone else come across these? If so, where?

Still some weird characters out there:

Just to be clear, the apostrophes in "O'Hara's" and "Laszlo's Inn" display as a solid white diamond with a question mark in it in Firefox 14.0.1 and as empty squares in the automated sleuth helper and Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421.

I noticed on the boards (mainly the RP boards, since I spend a lot of time there) that these diamonds with questions marks appear wherever there are supposed to be long dashes.
