when you accept a case, the client will give you several names. You click on a name and you'll see a description of that person with several questions you can ask. I suggest clicking on the motive question first, then the alibi question.
I would highly recommend reading the help file, newbie FAQ, the newbie board. There is also a tutorial case that will help you figure out how this site works.
