Have you just had your best day of Sleuthing ever? Solved your first AI case? Got your last contact? Picked up your first treasure? Found a spoon? Finally got into the Prince's Palace?*

This is the place to share the joy, have a 'woot' or two and be congratulated by your fellow Sleuths.

Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

(* If you don't get the references, never mind. You could ask someone. Or you could just wait and see what the world of Sleuth brings you further down the line...)

I started my first VH today, it is going good so far, except for getting the same clue several times.

What kind of girl can resist a sale? :D

I spied the Chief of the Shangri La Tigers dancing in that sexy sparkly vest I fetched him. When he noticed me, he sudden stopped, cleared his throat & told me to get lost until I found his next item. I ran out of there as fast as I could with my newly acquired smugglers' map to Cairo!!!

(Hahaha, let's see what happens then when I go on my first villain hunt & am suddenly distracted by an ongoing film festival.)

Brenna: Good luck! Bring this villain to justice! :-)

Lawliettine: It must have been a very interesting sight, but maybe it's not wise to spread the word around. lol

And I can totally relate to that. That's why shopping alone is the usual choice. ;-)

i just got an eye-opener that will be nothing new to veterans around here. i spent 20 minutes processing a case with another persona, marked it as solved by a suspect and put it in the files for luc. i opened a few minutes later expecting to have a case to get a favor with and my suspect drops dead. peachy.

i did get the guy, or in this case madame bookie. but it makes you wonder how many people should be walking around in this game were it not for a hurry... L

I just spent 2000$ bribing townies for alibis, despite very charming gear, on an almost impossible case that at most yields a 1000$ reward. This can't be practical :)

Back on the AVH trail after a most trifling and irritating failure in Cairo. Somehow a mix-up in the ordering of a cup of tea (they brought me coffee!) cost me my chance in nabbing Sir Severus Dvorkin.

I could console myself with the knowledge that the Dvorkin network was at least severely weakened - not least as he was last spotted limping out of Cairo after an encounter with an Egyptian Cobra ...

The hunt goes on!

Sympathy! Colds are horrible things. I once had a boss who claimed never to have had a cold in her life, which was one of many reasons I wanted to brain her with the nearest blunt instrument. Hope you feel better soon!

thank you! if it was an office setting, i'd suggest a typewriter (if it was in the old days) or a monitor. otherwise a good old-fashioned baseball bat works great. err, since you're in british territory, make that a cricket bat but you're going to have to use it overhand, which is weird unless you practice. don't forget to warm up first; you get much more power in your swing.

if physical exercise isn't your thing and you still have that cold, you could try being nice and offer to make her a cuppa tea. just add a little arsenic and ... problem disposed of. (was going to say solved but at this point my brain keeps making puns.) don't forget to relax with a nice glass of elderberry wine! (loved that movie). so thank you again and don't get this! L
