Have you just had your best day of Sleuthing ever? Solved your first AI case? Got your last contact? Picked up your first treasure? Found a spoon? Finally got into the Prince's Palace?*
This is the place to share the joy, have a 'woot' or two and be congratulated by your fellow Sleuths.
Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.
Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)
(* If you don't get the references, never mind. You could ask someone. Or you could just wait and see what the world of Sleuth brings you further down the line...)

I have just finished a SH case 'The Agonizing Legend of the Wayward Corpse' . The introduction refers to the victim, Chauncey Tollison, as 'a child' and goes on to describe the detective's feelings at having to deal with a child killer. Yet the case file describes the victim as 'Chauncey Tollison, aged 41' !
Maybe the intro writer was referring to his inner child...?

lol. hmmm yes, well... I think that has something to do with the fact that the game throws up a generic age of the Victim :) It doesn't read the intro's. :D but the editor's should :p

I'm mildly unnerved now. I just started a case and it came up with intro text that said it was written by me. Which would be fine except that I have no memory of writing it. It reads like something I might have written, though, so I've no reason to doubt the attribution.
Obviously senility is setting in alarmingly early...

Yep, I remember that one! It doesn't happen often, but it's a real bummer when it does. Sympathy!
I think it was things like that which influenced a certain decision I made. Still not sure if it was the right choice... [/crypticlady]

I still remember the first day that I looked at the RP - board and wish I could become one of those famous writers on that board. Little did I know that I developed myself to the writer I am these days. Of course, I may have exaggerated with the countless car crashes, the bizarre events that happened etc.
But the RP - board will always be in my heart, and I shall always take a gander to see new and old talent write new content and (if possible) join in their adventures...
And who knows, maybe one day, I'll even write my own detective book 0_0.

I have done 32 cases thus far in London, my second city of the AVH I'm on. 32. I think I have you beat Cordy, and, let me assure you, I never wanted to have that privilege.
