Hello all.
I'm fairly new to Sleuth and I thought I might share a little hobby of mine with you all. Here's something for that sad moment when the mysteries of the day are all done.
Thousands lay up gold within this house,
but no man made it.
Spears past counting guard this house,
but no man wards it.
What is it?

You're just too good Lady Grey, and yes, the answer is three (3) because, the doorman lets in those who answers with the number of letters in the word he says. Twelve is six letters, therefore, six is three. We need to learn a really really hard one to trip you up lady Grey...maybe, then maybe not...hehe.

Lady Grey, my Dad showed me the ring trick when I was little. Anyway, he used the eracer end of a pencil to push the quarter. If anyone does this trick, tell the person watching that you won't be touching the ring whatsoever. This makes it sound more complicated..lol. OK, I've got to think of a hard one to make Lady Grey work hard for the answer...lol.

Well, in the beginning God created Man, then created all of the animals. Amoung them had to be the chickens, then the chicken laid eggs, so Adam and Eve could have eggs for breakfast.

Here's a simple one, then I quit.
I go from house to house but never come inside
I never eat or sleep and my bed is made outside
