Everyone has suggestions for new things they would like to see in Sleuth. Well, this is a thread for those ideas. Just post a one or two line synopsis of your concept(s), with a small additional informational blurb if two lines is not enough to capture it. Discussions regarding specific ideas will take place in a separate thread, to keep this one running smoothly. Please do not include complaints, critiques, or other discussion on this thread, for purposes of flow. Anything that is not specifically done for the purpose of outlining an idea will be deleted.

All ideas will be considered; even if no discussion thread for them is immediately started, don't lose heart. Ready, get set, post!

I have another skill idea and I want to thank the person who thought up the skill "Determination" several pages back.
Instead having a skill that will auto-solve for a piece of evidence, why not get a skill that can determine a piece of unknown evidence to be?
For example, you have an unknown note. You can use the skill to determine rather the note comes from a left-handed person or a right-handed person on your own without assistance from the crime lab.
Instead of calling the skill "Determination", I would call it *drum roll* ... "Analyze", "Trace", or "Sixth Sense" even? o.o -> xD

I also want a skill that enhances most (if not all) smart skills, especially Surveillance and/or enhance your Smart stats in general. I don’t want a 50% success rate (Is that even the correct success rate?). I want a 99.9% success rate for Surveillance. It's disappointing to see Surveillance fail even after putting on all your smart gear. =(
I would call it "Insight" or "Intuition" or something of the like. xD

Disguise â€" a Charming skill that allows the person to disguise themselves as the opposite gender so that the Flirting skill will take effect when using Sweet Talking/Rule Bending on people of the same gender as the user. I don’t know if this should be a “1 use per case” or “unlimited use.”

Concealment â€" a passive skill. It gives you the chance to capture the Arch Villain early (used only after reaching the 3rd city). You camouflage yourself to match your surroundings so that the arch villain doesn’t see you coming.

He called my 1st skill suggestion, “Advanced Surveillance.” (Blackmailing)

Advanced Safecracking (Foresight) - go to the Fortune teller and she tells you the NEXT favor that will be needed for the hunt.

Advanced Pick Pocketing (Sticking Fingers) - you get twice the money

Advanced Hypnotism (Mind’s Eye)- work on a townie where they give you some free info...like they could say yes, so and so was here then you hypnotize them and they say, so and so thinks they know who did it or so and so was here too.

Advanced Pugilism (Display of Martial Arts) â€" increases the likelihood of success when using Interrogation or Intimidation even further.*

Advanced Flirting(Ear Whispering) - increases likelihood of success when using Sweet Talking or Rule Bending on a member of the opposite sex even further.*

Advanced Underworld Connections (Manhunt) - the hiding suspect come backs and doesn’t clam up on you at all due to fear.*

* - I added a lil touch to it and the words in parenthesis are my title suggestions.

I know new cities have been considered but when the times comes, we should all vote for what the next new city should be. I would vote for Tokyo! Manga/Anime Lovers Unite! =D

Some more skill ideas:

This could be a modification or an add-on skill to Lock Picking (Advanced Lock Picking). Like I dislike when the "Pick the Lock" option appear on a client, you use it but it gives you motives and for when it would appear on suspect that the Research skill cleared, it gives you the suspect's alibi. Why not have the "power" to choose what we want to gain from Lock Picking. A detective doesnt look for info, he doesnt need or want for that matter. >.>

Another one is kinda like Research but it's different. When all else fails, a detective trust their instincts, their gut. xD
So why not make a skill where detective has a "gut feeling" that "so and so" is not the guilty culprit. Of course, you gotta make sure that Research and Gut Feeling doesnt give you same suspect.

Continuing on with the "Gut Feeling", we can have another skill (or maybe we can combine this with the previous skill) that allows us know if we have all suspects or not. Yes, I want to run the Fortune Teller out of business. You use $20 a case for 12 cases, that's $240 a day. Times that by 7, you get $1680. That's how much money you could be saving for a week. It goes a long way. o.o

Also since we have banks in this game, why cant we take out loans and deposit some of our money to gain back some interest on them. =)

Also I have an idea to what we can call the next level of difficulty for the cases. We could call it "Mystery Impossible". You know like the movie "Mission Impossible" xD. It has a nice ring to it. =)
It will have 11-12 suspects with the usual 3-4 real alibis and 3-4 pieces of evidence. And of course, more money. =D
