saving featured mysteries

how come I can't save a case I'm working on? I belong to an agency. I have no problem saving random ones. I've been working on a featured mystery and getting stuck. But no one is around from my agency to help when I'm on.

I am not sure featured cases can be saved, as favors cannot be saved. I am sure someone out there will be able to weigh in on this decisively.

However, know that a false accusation in a featured mystery does not go on your record as a false accusation, ie does not add to the total towards paying off shady or retiring your character.

And my own personal approach was to hold off on the featured mysteries until I was quite experienced, as I found them much harder than the levels that describe them. Even when I did play them later, I still felt like I was guessing. Not everyone agrees with me on how hard they are - maybe it's not my kind of thinking? But that's my advice, anyway. The featured cases don't go away, so it's not like you're going to miss out if you wait.

I know they can't be saved, I wanted to know why we can't save them. I can do the favors easily enough. But I get stuck on the featured and want to save it instead of accusing someone. I realize false accusations won't go on my record, but I want to actually figure it out. Not accuse all my suspects till I have none left.

Well, I may not be the best person to address this, then. I would just guess, and if you're wrong, do it again after you have built your skills up further.
