Hi,

After a few queries, and comments on the boards I thought I'd just mention that it is quite OK for SM's not to follow the usual case conventions. ie FA + PE = guilty.

There are already quite a few cases out there that have multiple people with false accusations and evidence against them, and you have to choose from which of these the killer might be.

There also a lot of SM's that follow the normal case mechanics, and also some that just lead you straight to the killers door and are more stories that you click through rather than problems to solve.

The main thing to remember is that a SM is NOT a normal case and you should take this as a positive, as it gives you much more scope to create a more complete and interesting storyline.

Thank you so much for this piece of info. I've created my first 2 AM based on the 'normal' convention, and yes, in the beginning it can be a bit borrowing because of it. Knowing now about the flexibility, i can't wait to start creating my 3rd one.... (but will have to wait until summer because i'm extremely busy this month)
