This has been brought up before, but it's worth repeating (perhaps most especially on this board).
When you are working on a regular case and come across a typo in the Intro, please keep in mind that the case names are randomly generated and have NOTHING to do with the Intro itself. They are not even remotely related.
When reporting a typo, therefore, please include a good portion of the first line of the intro. That will help us to find which one needs to be fixed.
The reason I've posted to this board instead of any of the others is that most seasoned detectives know that the case names are randomly generated, but many newer detectives may not yet realise it. If you didn't know, no worries. You know now :-)
Thank you all!

Actually, Ms Helen, I must respectfully disagree. :-D Actually, the first line AND author is preferable, but if you only send one, make it the first line; if the author has written several intros, we don't have to scan them all to get the one with the error.
About the bug reports, I couldn't agree more. Please make sure you submit them as bug reports, not typos! Editors can't do anything about them, except to forward them on to Admin - who would already have gotten it if it had been submitted to the proper place. I don't believe he even looks at the typo reports unless we specifically ask him to, so really, you want to make sure they go to the correct queue.
