forgive me if this is morbid -- lets make a list of songs we want played at our funerals. Add to the list anytime you have a new thought.
I'd pick Into the Mystic by Van Morrison. Ill probably think of more later.

ooh I just thought of one - I'm adding " lies" by the arcade fire to my list. Oh and some puff pastries, and a pony and a pirated recording of a balloon Garfield dry humping a balloon Hello Kitty.

Well, if we could have the sending off of our dreams, I'd love to be laid out atop a huge pyre, which would burn as drums play (not the Neil Peart type drumming, but the rhythmic, heartbeat-type drumming).

Afterward, everyone would gather together for a HUGE party, where the only tears allowed would be caused by massive laughter, and a good time would be had by all.

At said party, there would be tons of dancing to music ranging from jazz and big band to disco and all the stuff I loved during the '80's.

Anything by the Slumber Party Girls would NOT be welcome (although I do plan to crash Crunchpatty's funeral and sing the Texting Song).

If I had my choice, Id put a keg in my casket, turn up the AC/DC, playing Have A Drink On Me......and party on! No time for tears :)

I was gonna write what I thought I wanted, but after reading Ani's first paragraph,(minus the dead and burning part,of course), I find myself a bit distracted. LOL.
