Should have been the murderer...

I was just playing a case and a girl didn't have an alibi and she had evidence against her, but after I accused her it came up that she wasn't it.

I know she didn't have an alibi and that she was the one with the evidence against her. I keep a Microsoft Notepad open and keep a list of which suspects have real alibi's/fake alibi's/evidence/witness, so I know it was her, I even checked it before accusing her... so why wasn't she it?

did you make sure that she didn't have an alibi because sometimes suspects clam up on you and so you don't know what their alibi is, when they might actually have a valid alibi.

if you knew for sure that she didn't have an alibi (she either said 'i don't have an alibi' or a townie said she wasn't there) then maybe there was a bug in the case.

just remember that if you don't know a suspects alibi (because they clammed up on you) then the only way to ensure they're guilty is if you have two witness evedinces against them!

Thank you, but by no alibi I meant she said she didn't have one. I guess I will try to get enough money to get it taken off my record by the shady one.

Does getting a False Accusation lower the amount of cases you have after you falsely accuse someone? After it happened, I went on to play more and I had thought I had more case for the day than what I had.

I hope this makes sense... I am tired.

I don' t think it should (unless you get 3 FAs and get retired, in which case you won't be able to play any cases :P)

Okay, thank you! Does the shady character always ask for more money than you have? Every time I have gone to see him, his price to take it away is really high!

Shady's price goes up for every case that you solve. The trick to getting even or ahead of him is to do favors and easy cases. It gives you less experience overall (what Shady's prices are based on), and more money quicker so you can pay him off sooner. Hope that helps.
